Although the news that Google announces to change their old logo into a google photos redesign logo will still take a week to be applied to the different apps of the company, the truth is that the changes are significant since the service logo is also changed. After this, Google Photos will never be the same again. It is something that we love because, at last, we will have a photo map thanks to geolocation labels.
New life, new logo
As we said, Google Photos is under construction, and one of the first changes occurs on his face. The folded sheet system that made the google photos’ new logo look like a pinwheel is simplified. Now we will have half circles in the same position, all more streamlined. This is a statement by one of the members of Google.
The google photos update logo seems more optimal when it comes to reducing it to the maximum to convert it, for example, into an icon.
The long-awaited world map of our photos also comes to Photos with an apparent similarity to Google Maps. In this map, we will be able to see the photographs that we have taken. But the condition is that they have the geolocation tag active that indicates where they were born. A new way to search our photos gets enhanced not by date or using the text search engine, but in a much more visual way.
The memories of the application also undergo an aesthetic change. Google Photos abandons the circular icons so that the section takes on more prominence and resembles. This is to find a similar design, that of the publications of stories on Facebook. The themes are also expanded, and we no longer only have memories based on specific dates but also compilations from Google itself, such as our best photographs.
Finally, the application interface is simplified in both the Android and iOS versions. The upper part is now for memories, while the lower part is for photographs, search, and our library. The map is housed in the second tab, while sections such as the trash or the photo archive are listed last.
With these changes, Page and Brin formally adopt more strategic roles within the company.
The United States Securities Market Commission (SEC) has been informed of this reorganization. Alphabet will be listed under the existing stock code GOOGL and GOOG, but Google’s results will be reported as part of the new organization.
Following the announcement, made after the close of Wall Street, the company’s shares in the continuous market rose 5.41% to $ 699 a share.
The purpose of these changes is to enhance research and development subsidiaries in a more independent structure. The new logo comes with many other enhanced features that make it useful to look and work.
