Reliance Jio will launch Jio Fiber Broadband by Oct 2017 to offer 100 GB at 500 Rs per Month.

We have known for a while that reliance jio is gearing up to its new product “Jio Fiber Broadband” and expected to be launch till Diwali Oct 2017. The base plan will be of 100 GB with as much as low amount of 500 rs per month with the speed of 100 Mbps. After completing of 100 GB data the customer will get speed of 1 Mbps. The service will be offered for free for the one time installation charge of rs 4500/- and the amount is refundable if the customers would not like to continue with Jiofiber.

The JioFiber Broadband preview offer is launched in selected cities and areas of Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Surat and Vadodara.

Comparing to other broadband services like BSNL and Bharti Airtel, The JioFiber offers more data in low value with high speed.

BSNL & JIO

Airtel Offers 60 GB data for Rs 899, 90 GB data for Rs 1099 and 125 GB data for Rs 1,299. Airtel customers of Delhi-NCR, Company is running a promotion and offering additional 1,000 GB of broadband data on select plans.

BSNL Offers 175 GB data at 8 Mbps for 2,641/-.

According to Telecom Regulatory March 2017, BSNL has more Home Broadband customers nearby 10 million as compared to Airtel it has only 1.95 million.

JioFiber can cause new disruption in the market and can also give competition  to all other Broadband services. We all have to wait and watch to see the launching of JioFiber to come true.
