After making a mess in the telecom sector with attractive plans, Reliance Jio is all set to launch Jio Fiber Broadband Service.
But an accidental leak on Jio’s official website has revealed some interesting details about Jio’s future plans related to Jio Fiber.
This accidental leak of details was partially possible because of a Reddit user, who shared a screenshot of the locations where Jio Fiber can possibly be launched in the initial phase.
However, this section of Jio’s official website has been shut down as of now, and the URL is not accessible any longer.
JioFiber Preview Plan Details:
JioFiber preview plan was mentioned on Company website stating that it would offer 100GB of data per month at 100 Mbps of speed for three months for free. After using 100MB the connection speed will reduce to 1Mbps, but will not disconnect your connection.
However, Users need to Registration charge which is a refundable security deposit of Rs.4500/-. This amount is refundable if you decide not to continue with JioFiber before the trial expires. Part of that installation fee will cover a dual-band Wi-Fi router, which promises superior indoor coverage and connectivity. Customers will also be able to remotely monitor and control their Wi-Fi when a new device connects to the network.
Apart from Jio Fiber Preview plan, Website also revealed the cities name where Jio Fiber will launch which includes Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Surat, Vadodara, and Vishakhapatnam.
There is still no launch date for jio fiber yet from the company, though it is expected to launch in few cities in a month or so. The Jio fiber service will be offered to customers in the same way Jio offered its 4G service. Reliance Jio is currently testing its Fiber Broadband service to selected customers and company employees.
